Abstract

Developmental Psychology is the scientific discipline of psychology which studies the systematic changes of emotions and
perceptions that occur in human beings during different stages of the life cycle. Development is one of life’s optimistic ideas.
It implies not just change but improvement, progress, forward movement, and some sense of positive direction.
This study aims to define developmental psychology, the growth and process of development and some of its theories.
