Abstract

Juvenile delinquency is a significant social and legal issue that requires effective prevention measures and appropriate treatment of juvenile offenders. The United Nations has played an important role in establishing
international standards aimed at protecting children's rights and promoting a humane approach to juvenile justice. This paper analyzes the United Nations’approach to juvenile delinquency, focusing on the principles of prevention,
protection of children's rights, and reintegration of juveniles into society.
The analysis highlights the importance of international standards in shaping national policies and practices related to juvenile justice. It concludes that the United Nations’ approach is centered on the best interests of the child,prevention of delinquent behavior, and the successful social reintegration of juveniles.
