ABSTRACT

The education of the women is the most important ringleading totheincomplete emancipation, elimination of allgender differences, reduction of theimpact ofstereotypesreferringtowomen’s ethics inmanyspheres of the society,economic, political, health, socialactivities andrealization of thebasic humanrights.For many years the women’seducation has been along-termstruggle forthe fundamendalright, the right to education, aswell as forreduction of theeducationaldifference with the men, equal participation in the sphereof the labor marketandin the overallsocio-political life.Modern streams in the social lifeenabled the womento increasetheir participationinmanyprofessionswhich used to be exclusivelymale, such as medicine,law, science,and to increase the percentage ofwomenin higher education, whereas the percentage ofactivejob seekers, andthe percentage ofwomen among the employedis stillfairly lowin comparison withthe malepopulation, and there as onfor these issues in the Republic of Macedoniaare not sufficientlyexplored orstudied, henceneedof a shorter view of thisproblem is beingimposed.
